German Style Spinach

What You Need

1 package frozen chopped spinach
1 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Pepper to taste

Here's How

Cook spinach according to package directions.  Drain well and set aside.

In a large skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter until tender, about 5 minutes.  Stir in spinach, bacon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.  Heat through.  Makes 4 servings.
