Basic Bread Stuffing

What You Need

1/2 cup butter
1 large onion, diced
1 to 2 cups diced celery
1 package Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 cup turkey stock, water, or milk
1/2 to 1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup pecans
Chopped up giblets
2 eggs, beaten to blend

Here's How

Melt butter in large stockpot. Saute onion and celery until tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Add to bread cubes. Add partially beaten eggs and seasonings. Add stock and stir well. Add additional chicken broth until mixture is lightly moist. Stuff the turkey. Bake extra stuffing in a lightly greased casserole at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour.
