Pork Chops with Sweet and Spicy Cherry Glaze

What You Need

3 tablespoons cherry preserves
1 green onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon curry powder
Dash ground cinnamon
Dash ground red pepper
4 pork loin or rib chops, cut 1 1/4 inches thick (about 2 pounds total)
1 clove garlic, halved

Here's How

For glaze, heat cherry preserves, green onion, soy sauce, lemon juice, curry powder, cinnamon, and red pepper  over medium heat until bubbly. Trim fat from chops. Rub both sides of chops with cut sides of garlic.

Grill chops on an uncovered grill directly over medium coals (or on a grill pan over medium heat) for 25-30 minutes or until slightly pink in the center and juices run clear, turning once. Brush or spoon glaze over pork during the last 10 minutes of grilling. Makes 4 servings.
