Grilled Salmon Fillets with Butter Sauce
What You Need
4 salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
Salt and pepper
Brush salmon with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Grill on hot grill for approximately 5 minutes on each side.
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 cup white wine
1 large shallot, chopped, about 2 tablespoons
3 tablespoons whipping cream
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
Bring lime juice, wine, and shallot to a boil and cook until reduced by half, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium. Add cream and whisk to incorporate. Add butter 1 tablespoon at a time, whisking well as butter melts.
Serve over grilled salmon.
