Cilantro Lime Shrimp

What You Need

1 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper (more or less to taste.)
1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons lime juice

Here’s How

Heat the olive oil and butter in a large non stick sauté pan over medium high heat.

Add the crushed red pepper to the pan and toss to coat with oil. Add the shrimp and garlic to the pan and sprinkle with salt. Toss to coat with oil. Let the shrimp cook undisturbed for 1 minute. Turn the shrimp and cook 2 to 3 minutes more until they are pink. Turn off the heat and mix in the cilantro, then the lime juice. Serve hot or at room temperature. Serve alone, over rice, or in a folded heated flour or corn tortilla.
