Aunt Mattie’s Plum Pudding
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 cups bread crumbs
(about 4 slices)

3 eggs

2/3 cup milk with 1 tsp. soda in it
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Cloves
1/2 tsp. Allspice
1 tsp. Nutmeg
3 Tbsp. jelly
1 cup raisins
1 cup currants
1 cup walnuts
Cream sugar and butter. Add all other ingredients. Pour into greased 4-cup mold. Steam on top of stove for three hours.
Sauce
1 egg
1 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
Beat egg until light and fluffy. Add next three ingredients. Fold whipped cream into egg mixture.
