Fruit Cobbler

1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Sweeten to taste 3 to 3 1/2 cups of fruit. Pour cobbler batter over boiling fruit. Add butter on top and bake about 30 minutes or until batter is delicately browned
