Peach Cobbler

What You Need

1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 4-ounce can evaporated milk
1 egg, beaten
3 cups peaches, sliced, covered with water, and sprinkled with 1/4 cup sugar
1 stick butter

Here's How

Mix dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. In a small bowl, mix milk and beaten egg and add to the dry ingredients. Mix into a smooth batter. Melt butter in a 8 x 11.5 inch baking pan. Pour batter over butter. Add fruit last. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes. Top will be lightly browned and the center will be firm.
