Flank Steak

What You Need

1 1/2 pounds flank steak
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced

Here's How

Score steak diagonally across the grain at 3/4 inch intervals. Mix all ingredients and marinate the steak 6 to 8 hours (or overnight) in refrigerator. Grill over high heat, turning once, about 6 minutes on each side or until cooked to desired doneness.
